Yesterday we had the honor of working with the Chabad of Wilmington for the second year in a row to host their annual Purim Party.
For those of you who don't know, Purim is similar to the our modern day version of Halloween. Kids and adults dress up in costume to hear the story of how Haman's plan to massacre the Jewish people in the Book of Ester.
The story is read aloud from the Torah and everyone is handed a noisemaker to shake at the sound of Haman's name. If you are interested in learning more about Purim or the Chabad of Wilmington, head on over to their facebook page here
I must say, Hanna is the master of decorating. This is the second time we got to see her party planning come to fruition and she did not disappoint
The theme was emojis and the event was decorated with various smiley faces . There was balloons, costumes, and even face painting! See the pictures in our gallery, and videos on our facebook page!
