This was actually the first wedding that our Event Coordinator Kenyatta has worked. Usually she got to help out with the parties or dinners that came through our doors, but this time she got to experience one of the biggest days of a couples' lives.
The wedding itself was very beautiful. Heather is a very smart and budget savvy bride. She was able to find her plates (dinner AND cake), silverware, and napkins on amazon for a great price! We may need her deal-seeking eyes for ourselves in the future :) She enlisted a lot of decorating and help from her family and friends. Her children had a role the service as ring bearer and flower girl, they were so cute!
The reception was catered by Middle of the Island Catering, and they were a breeze to work with. It was a buffet-styled dinner, but with sit down drink service. Music was provided by Daniel Bullard, inventive in his own right. His stand that he played his music from, he saw on Pinterest and built himself! Her cake was made by a family friend who came out of retirement just to help Heather. Don't you just love all this love going around?
If anyone had the most fun, my money would be on the kids. They were absolute beasts on the dance floor, putting everyone else to shame. That may or may not have been due to the delicious candy bar that was up for grabs. Of course the bride and groom had their fun as well, as did everyone who attended. All in all it was a wonderful service, full of love and coming together. We want to say congrats to the happy couple and many wonderful years to come.
